Bradbury went on to publish W.H. Johnstone and A. Croall's The Nature-Printed British Seaweeds (London: ), and to plan a further four nature-printed works. However, the controversy with Auer continued to overshadow him, and Auer called Bradbury a liar and a dishonest drunk in print. Another printer, the Englishman Henry Bradbury, immediately used Auer’s ‘nature printing’ process to publish work of his own. These included two major botanical works; The Ferns of Great Britain and Ireland’, by Thomas Moore, () which is the book I have, and The Nature-printed ‘British Seaweeds’ ().
